In R-Type Delta, you pilot the R-9A Arrowhead spacecraft through horizontally scrolling levels filled with enemy ships and obstacles. This detachable orb can be positioned in front of or behind your ship for offensive and defensive purposes, absorbing enemy fire and firing its own powerful beam. The objective is to survive each stage, defeat the large mid-boss and end-level boss, and progress through the game's seven challenging levels.
